Radiant Heat

Radiant heat is technology that is used both indoors and outdoors. Radiant heat is most commonly known as heating an object rather than directly heating the air. Indoors it is a way of replacing common convection heating, and outdoors we are able to supply confined heating.

Indoors

The technology behind radiant heat has been around for centuries with the idea of underground heating and masonry heating. Today indoor radiant heat systems are referred to as low-temperature heat systems. Indoor radiant heat systems can also improve the air humidity of your home. Our indoor radiant heat services include:

  • Underfloor heating- both electric and hydronic
  • Wall heating systems
  • Radiant ceiling panels

Outdoors

Because an outdoor area is a frequently changing environment, it makes it very difficult to heat. Radiant heat allows us to heat a confined outdoor area and the people who are there. Outdoor radiant heat can make the difference in the comfort of the outside of your homes, and often save you time and money from weather related damages. Our outdoor radiant heat services include:

  • Trace heating- Gutter and roof de-icing
  • Snowmelt systems- Electric and hydronic
  • Overhead natural gas- fired radiant heat systems (for porches)
